UNICOIL receives laboratory accreditation

UNICOIL, headquartered in Jubail, received the laboratory accreditation, conforming to ISO17025-2005, from Dubai Accreditation Center (DAC) a signatory of ILAC—MRA (International Laboratories Accreditation Cooperation—Mutual Recognition Agreement).
UNICOIL terms this as another first achievement added to its list of accreditations. "UNICOIL is the first and only company that received such an accreditation in the flat steel industry in Middle East," the company stated.
ISO 17025 is described as the single most important standard for calibration and testing laboratories around the world.
Laboratories that are accredited to this international standard have demonstrated that they are technically competent and able to produce precise and accurate test and/or calibration data, providing confidence to customers or any other parties or agencies that the test results provided are reliable and dependable.
Process of accreditation involves participation in proficiency testing programs, inter-laboratory test programs.
UNICOIL participates in the proficiency testing programs conducted by ASTM International (American Society for Testing of Materials).
“Achieving such an accreditation reflects the commitment of UNICOIL to customers of providing test services with accurate results, reliable and dependable,” the company stated.
