RIYADH: The Cabinet shake-up and restructuring of ministries by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman will open new horizons for economic development in the Kingdom, said a top business official.
“The business sector is thankful to the king for issuing the royal decrees on Saturday, which dealt with many appointments, alterations and establishment of ministries and authorities,” Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil, chairman of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was quoted as saying by local media. “The king's decision represents a cornerstone for the framework of adding new blood and reinforcing all national sectors.”
Al-Zamil said the citizens can expect, following these decrees, a new qualitative step in the national action plan that will ensure prosperity for all.
“The business sector welcomes the decision that deals with basic changes in a number of ministries and authorities related to the business sector. These wise decisions will have a great effect on all sectors to realize the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision,” he said.
Al-Zamil said the 2030 Vision plan will allow greater awareness and national action vis-a-vis the challenges of low oil prices.
