18 Saudis to participate in Intel ISEF

RIYADH: Eighteen Saudi gifted students will represent the Kingdom at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF 2016) to be held in Phoenix, in the US, from May 8 to 13 this year.
This is the 10th Intel ISEF competition in which Saudi youths will take part. A total of 1,500 students from around 50 countries qualify every year to be eligible for receiving cash prizes worth over $3 million in 17 areas.
Intel ISEF is the world's largest international pre-college science competition with affiliated fairs around the globe.
According to the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), the Saudi team will compete in the international event with 18 projects in various fields, including mathematics, biomedicine and health sciences.
