Hail governor honors outstanding students

RIYADH: Hail Gov. Prince Saud bin Abdul Mohsen honored students recently for their academic achievements.

Speaking during a ceremony recently in the presence of government officials, dignitaries from the region and employees of the education department, he said that Saudi students were intelligent.
“However, they do need our unqualified support and assistance so that they can achieve their goals and dreams in future,” he said. He specifically highlighted the achievements of Shadi Al-Shammari, a female student who won a gold medal for mathematics at an event in Romania.
He thanked the students’ parents and said Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has shown considerable commitment to the education and development of young people in the country.
The students honored included Khalid Oweidh Zuwaicher Al-Tashidi, Fahd Saad Samah Al-Inizi, Saud Mohammmed Nuhaitir Al-Shammari, Ziad Fahad Al-Maliki, Fahad Al-Shammary and Yasser Abdullah Abdul Karim Saad.
