RIYADH: Shapoorji Pallonji Group, which is actively involved in several mega projects in various sectors in the Kingdom, is a 150-year old Indian construction conglomerate, having started its operations way back in 1865.
The group is actively engaged in many diverse areas globally in infrastructure projects, water and air purifiers, electro-mechanical systems, solar energy projects, textiles and yarns, real estate and roads/ports/power plants developments.
Engineering and construction is the flagship business of the group, engaged in construction of buildings, factories, stadiums, IT parks, educational campuses and residential projects. 
Its capabilities include managing complex, mega projects on total solution basis including design and build delivery system. 
The international contracting construction business of the group is managed by Shapoorji Pallonji International FZE, headquartered in Dubai. 
Operating in 13 countries in the GCC and MENA region for more than 45 years, Shapoorji Pallonji International (SPINT) has successfully delivered projects in almost every sector; including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, mixed use, sports and leisure and airports.  
Globally, they have more than 200  ongoing  projects which include 10 in Saudi Arabia.
With a wide spectrum of expertise in almost all sectors, its project portfolio value ranges from  $100 million to $650 million.

Shapoorji is currently executing several mega projects in the Kingdom such as the King Khaled International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, the headquarters of Saudi Electric Company (SEC), various hotels, commercial complexes and high-rise commercial towers. 
The company currently has a strength of 500 staff and managers with 2,000 workmen.
