DAMMAM: A motivational personality development program titled, “Design Your Own Future,” was organized by Akola Educational and Welfare Association (AEWA) in Dammam recently.
Syed Saeed Ahmed, president of Rabta Foundation in the western Indian city of Pune, conducted the program. It was followed by an interesting workshop.
Ahmed is an accomplished speaker who has conducted more than 1,100 motivational programs in 195 cities and towns of India and abroad. It was his second visit to Saudi Arabia during which he toured Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
Abdul Latif recited Qur’anic verses and Riyazullah Khan anchored the event. AEWA President Mateen Ahmed reviewed the association’s activities and AEWA Vice President Mohammed Rafique Akolvi introduced the guest speaker.
AEWA’s management team and members of the audience expressed appreciation of the speaker for conducting the workshop.
Akolvi said the purpose of conducting this event was to provide the opportunity to the community in terms of developing the personality and to motivate them. “Just as we take care of our body by washing our face, brushing our teeth, combing our hair and maintaining our beauty, it is also important to keep our thoughts clean and purify our spiritual self,” he said.
Ahmed was presented with a plaque by the AEWA’s president and Akolvi.
Jameel Ahmed presented the vote of thanks.
