Tamimi honored for supporting Dates Festival

For the third year in a row and in cooperation with Al-Ahsa municipality, Tamimi Markets supported and participated in the 2016 Al Ahsa Dates Festival, one of the most important and traditional events of Al-Ahsa.
Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif awarded a certificate of appreciation to Tamimi Markets for being a gold sponsor of the festival.
On behalf of Tamimi Markets, Khaled Almayoof, manager of investments and PR, received the award.
Al-Ahsa Gov. Prince Bader bin Mohammed bin Jalawi and Adel Al-Mulhim, mayor of Al-Ahsa city and general supervisor of the festival, were present.
The festival aims to bring back the historical presence and heritage of the dates in Al-Ahsa, the largest oasis of palms in the world; develop the relationship between the farmer and trader; and shed light on the importance of its agriculture.
Tamimi Markets’ three-year-old Al-Ahsa branch sells a variety of dates from Al-Ahsa and other Saudi areas.
Tamimi Markets, which operates 30 stores from Riyadh to Thuwal, and from Alkhobar and Dammam to Jubail, Al-Ahsa, plans to have 50 branches by 2020.
