BEIRUT: The winner of Star Academy 11 has finally been announced: Lebanese aspiring singer Marwan Youssef beat fellow contestants Naseem Raisi, Heidi Moussa and Mohammad Abbas to bag the title on Friday night.
With 55.4 percent of the vote, the handsome young singer will release his first music album, and receive $100,000 courtesy of Toyota, as a well-deserved prize for winning the TV singing competition. Another singer rocked the stage during the finale that evening. Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel Wahab sparkled in a silver glittery dress as she sang at the top of her lungs to an ecstatic live audience.
The beautiful host, Hilda, was draped in a stunning gown and was as stunning as usual.
