DAMMAM: In cooperation with the national program “Hand in Hand We Build Today and Tomorrow” launched by the Al-Bir Charitable Society in the Eastern Province, 300 young Saudi men received training in carpentry, coating and tiling.
The training program comes as part of the activities to train and employ 1,000 young men and women in fields commensurate with their skills and experience and allow them to provide for their families.
According to Secretary-General of Al-Bir Charitable Society in the Eastern Province Sameer Abdulaziz Al-Afeesan, the society recently signed an agreement with the national program to help job seekers find employment by developing their professional and technical skills.
The supervisor of the national program, Fahad Al-Ghafees, said the program’s objective is to combat unemployment and reduce dependency on foreign employees, while allowing Saudi cadres to occupy jobs and benefit socially and economically.
