IISJ bids farewell to school observer

JEDDAH: International Indian School-Jeddah (IISJ) recently hosted a farewell function for Mohammed Raghib Qureshi, the head of chancery and education and observer of International Indian Schools, Western Region.
The farewell ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Abdul Khaleeq, managing committee member.
Qureshi’s services to the schools and the community were praised by all the speakers during the event. They recounted the extraordinary situations where Qureshi helped the institutions and organizations to sail through challenges.
On behalf of the school, Principal Syed Masood Ahmed and Vice Principal of the girls’ section Farhadunnisa acknowledged Qureshi’s support to the IISJ in particular, throughout his tenure.
Managing Committee Chairman Abdul Raziq Abdul Wahid expressed his appreciation for Qureshi’s guidance.
Qureshi expressed his views, recounting his association with the school for more than three years.
Speaking about his experience and his journey as the school observer, he expressed his natural inclination toward education, and that he considers it to be very close to his heart.
Mentioning the achievements during his tenure, Qureshi appreciated the managing committee for its efforts in working toward the expansion of the school and having succeeded in upgrading the classrooms into smart rooms.
