Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB) has introduced the “most powerful” Alfursan credit card, with fastest free tickets, zero percent, with balance transfer for six months and free flights to Dubai.
The SHB Alfursan platinum card offers the highest number of Alfursan miles on the card and an additional 15,000 bonus Alfursan miles during the first year.
This is supported by MasterCard and offers travel insurance up to $250,000, including coverage for Schengen visa applications and access to over 500 VIP airport lounges worldwide.
Alfursan is the frequent flyer program of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and was launched in 1995 as one of the first of its kind in the region.
“At SHB, we are committed to provide solutions that are innovative and relevant to the lifestyle needs of our customers. Without doubt, our newest Shariah-compliant Alfursan platinum credit card is a highly rewarding choice for customers,” said Ali Imran, head of personal financial services at SHB.
Hussain Gumairi, GM, Alfursan program, said: “We are delighted to enter into a partnership with SHB, a bank with a history of providing innovative solutions to the Kingdom.”
Alfursan program rewards and recognizes the airline’s loyal guests with world-class benefits and privileges, which include earning and redeeming miles on 19 SkyTeam partner airlines operating to over 1,000 destinations.
Alfursan has also partnered with world’s leading brands in banks, hotels, telecom and car rentals to offer a more rewarding experience to its members.
The SHB Alfursan platinum credit card will allow members to earn miles faster, to be redeemed for free flights and upgrades.
Girish Nanda, area head for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen, MasterCard, commented: “At MasterCard, we are committed to providing safe, simple and convenient payment solutions for consumers. We are excited to collaborate with SHB to launch this proposition.”
