Jubail college facilities impress Emirati delegates

JUBAIL: A high-level delegation of Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) recently visited Jubail Industrial College (JIC) at the Royal Commission for Jubail to ascertain the academic disciplines provided by the college.
The delegation, headed by Saeed bin Fadel Al-Mazroui, the company’s CEO for operational processes, was received by the JIC’s Managing Director Adel Bahakeem and some other officials from the college.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the academic disciplines, the training programs provided to the industry as well as the academic accreditations obtained by the college. In addition, this was followed by a field tour of some of the facilities, laboratories and training workshops at the college.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed appreciation at the JIC’s deep educational vision, effective industrial initiatives, and its real contribution to achieve a strategic partnership with the industry to develop human resources.
The EGA is on of the leading companies covering the various stages in the aluminum industry, the latest industrial company in the UAE, and one of the Emirati non-oil leading companies. It is owned jointly by Mubadala Development Company and Investment Corporation of Dubai.
