As part of its wider growth plans, Saudia Group, a Qatar-based supermarkets and hypermarkets conglomerate, is entering the UAE market with the opening of Kenz Hypermarket in Ajman, the UAE.
Offering a wide range of products from food, home and kitchen essentials to apparels and footwear, Kenz Hypermarket comes as a one-stop solution to residents in Ajman. The hypermarket will be located in Hamidiya.
Saudia Group is well known for its retail business model with a number of supermarkets, hypermarkets, bakeries and shopping avenues in Qatar.
Established in 1988, the group has grown to become a household name in Qatar with the number of supermarkets under its banner having proliferated over the years.
Venturing out of the home ground for the first time, the brand is looking forward to increase its footprint across the region by expanding into the UAE.
Kenz Hypermarket, Supermarket and Departmental Stores are business units under the umbrella of Saudia Group. The conglomerate has invested AED 80 million into the venture in Ajman. The 160,000 square feet facility offers a variety of products like mobiles, cameras and furniture, cosmetics, luggage, toys along with a wide variety of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).
