DUBAI: Lt. Col. Faisal Mohammed Al-Shimmari, CEO of the Smart Government Program at the Ministry of Interior, underlined the ministry’s commitment of the ministry to improve smart e-services provided to customers to reflect the UAE vision 2021.
“This is achieved through maintaining the levels of service availability and standards of quality and excellence, so as to boost the customer’s confidence and satisfaction and meet their expectations,” said Lt. Col. Al-Shimmari.
He emphasized the diligent work carried out by all police and security sectors to implement initiatives and projects that make optimal use of information and communication technologies in an innovative and intelligent way, thus achieving the public’s expectations and boost the country’s global competitiveness, while maintaining national gains; and making the UAE one of the best countries in the world.
Lt. Col. Al-Shimmari underscored the keenness of the ministry to provide all segments of society with advanced and user-friendly techniques.
“The ministry also seeks to live up to its slogan ‘Our Services Within your Reach... Your Satisfaction is our Aim’ by providing electronic and smart services in a secure, quick and accurate steps, according to the UAE’s National Agenda for the coming years,” he said.
This will serve the ultimate goal of making the UAE one of the safest places in the world by achieving a total sense of security and safety, he added.
Lt. Col. Al Shimmari also indicated that the ministry constantly endeavors to keep abreast of the latest developments with the aim of serving customers. To this end, it has allocated the phone number 800500 to receive their enquiries during business hours to facilitate the completion of transactions.
