Siemens Healthcare showcased new offerings across its entire imaging portfolio — from a digital mobile X-ray system with interchangeable detectors, to a new 1.5-tesla MRI scanner. Siemens’ product portfolio supports health care providers around the globe to face the challenges of a transforming health care system while providing high diagnostic confidence and efficient work flows.
Siemens Healthcare has expanded its portfolio of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems to include the 1.5-tesla scanner MAGNETOM Amira. This new MRI scanner is specifically designed to enhance clinical capabilities, deliver comprehensive and advanced technology.
On the computed tomography (CT) front, with the new version of the Somatom Definition Edge, Siemens Healthcare has created the basis for establishing the dual energy procedure in clinical routine.
Siemens presented its FlowMotion technology incorporated in the world’s first PET/CT system to eliminate the demand for stop-and-go imaging: the Biograph mCT Flow. Now with Biograph mCT Flow and FlowMotion, planning and scanning is based on a single continuous motion of the patient table.
Siemens showcased its latest innovations in ultrasound: The new version of Siemens’ premium cardiovascular ultrasound imaging system Acuson SC2000 Prime edition now features live volume 3D transesophageal echo (TEE) imaging.
"Together with our Partner E.A. Juffali & Brothers, we are putting our efforts and passion in the sustainable development of the Kingdom’ health care sector. By implementing training and educational programs in Saudi Arabia, we are committed to contribute toward providing excellent health care services for all citizens," said Arja Talakar, CEO of Siemens Saudi Arabia.
