Citizens urged to get separate passports

The General Directorate of Passports urged citizens to get separate passports, for family travel documents are not accepted by some countries abroad.
Department’s spokesman, Lt. Col. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Luhaidan, said many citizens have applied for separate passports for their family members because they could not get visas for some countries.
The department therefore is urging citizens to get a passport for each family member. Citizens, he said, can use the Ebshir electronic system to renew or apply for new passports by visiting the website www.gdp.gov.sa.
