The historical streets of Havana are an attraction for over 3 million international tourists who come annually to enjoy the biggest island in the Caribbean. Many seek the flawless shores of the Caribbean, their famous World Heritage cities, relive the fascinating colonial history and experience the rich heritage of music, food and dance that Cuba is renowned for.
Cuba is a fascinating holiday destination; we have searched for the best places for you to see and the best activities for you to do to enjoy this Latina country to the max.

Varadero beach
Start your trip by spending fun time under the sizzling sun enjoying the water activities from scuba diving to sailing to swimming with the dolphins or just laze on the longest, most impressive beach in Cuba. You will fall in love with its golden sands lined by palm trees and fronted by unruffled blue -green waters.
You can even sneak in a round of golf at the Varadero Golf Club’s breathtaking championship course, or hike through the historical Ambrosio Cave. If pampering is what you have in mind, Varadero boasts an abundance of spas to help you unwind.
Just beyond the spectacular beaches, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for local tours. Explore the eco-tourism options offered on the nearby Zapata Peninsula, the largest wetland reserve in the Caribbean, or within the Varahicacos eco-logical reserve, where you can hike along vegetation-rich trails and gaze at the colorful array of exotic birds. If you are looking for more cultured diversion, visit the city of Mantanzas, known as the Athens of Cuba, because of the host of celebrated European poets and writers who lived there during the mid-19th century

Havana’s Malecon
There is no place which shows more of Havana’s soul, or attracts more locals and tourists than the long stretch of road called the Malecon. The street is home to a lot of charming buildings and also leads to the Bay of Havana which affords delightful views in the setting sun.

Old Havana
This location is one of the most well preserved colonial centers in the Americas with perfectly restored centuries old buildings dotting its narrow streets and historic plazas. The old city is amazing and a Spanish Armada would not look out of place in the harbor. The new Havana has not been touched since 1959 and is in pristine condition. It’s shabby and smart and beautiful all at the same time. You will find many small shops selling souvenirs, coffee shops, street vendors and all the outdoor activities.

Alejandro Robaina Tabacco Plantation

If there is one thing Cuba is famous for, it is its luxurious, high-end cigars. Those cubby tobacco sticks are carefully handmade in special plantations so if you ever happen to visit Cuba, don’t miss the opportunity to see how it is done and maybe even make one yourself!

The Hershey train
This railway was originally built by the US-based Hershey Company to transport sugar to the port of Havana. The railway is the only surviving electric line in Cuba and is now a historical railway for train runs from the suburbs of Havana, Cuba, to the town of Matanzas.

Punta Gorda, Cienfuegos
Punta Gorda is touted to be the best place in Cuba. Surrounded by the bay, the area features beautiful houses, many of them built before the revolution.
You cannot miss the magnificently decorative Palacio Del Valle which is the icing on the cake. The beautiful edifice lies on one of the broad avenues of the bayside district in laid back Cienfuegos.

Santiago de Cuba
If you visit Cuba in July, then you must put Santiago on your itinerary. The second largest city in Cuba, it is known for its famous summer carnival. The carnival in essence is one big party with hotels and restaurants doling out special offers to attract tourists to the city. You will fall in love immediately with the cultural music scene and local street performers who dance in traditional costumes.
The carnival of Santiago de Cuba is the largest, most famous, and most traditional carnival in all of Cuba and is an explosion of color, contagious drum rhythms, and dance. It is also a time for Cubans to gather and remember their history, community, and culture, and is often punctuated by the Cuban national holiday which falls on July 26.

Trinidad old town
This 16th century town has been much visited by tourists who are looking to see authentic colonial mansions threaded together by cobbled streets and compact plazas. The beautiful town has been listed on UNESCOs World Heritage sites since 1988.

Museo Presidio Modelo
The Presidio Modelo was a model prison located in the suburban quarter of Chacón, Nueva Gerona. This massive former prison has housed a fascinating museum for over thirty years and is now one of the most visited sights on the island with its forbidding atmosphere well preserved.

Classic American car
This country is like a car museum for American cars. Cubans love bold colors so it is highly recommended that you ride around Havana or Varadero in one of Gran Car’s classic 1950s cars, a testament to both US engineering and Cuban ingenuity.
Tens of thousands of vintage American cars are scattered throughout the country and in the summers and at classic car shows, the old American models end up on display.
