Western Auto Company Ltd., the sole distributor of Ashok Leyland, has formally begun service operations at the new center in Jubail that was opened in early December by cutting ribbons by Kamal A. J., CEO and Sadakathullah S.A.S. resident director.
On the opening ceremony, R. Thiru, general manager, after sales thanked Kamal and Sadakkathullah for their planning and investments to make available modern state of art Ashok Leyland Service facility in Jubail and thanked the management for all the support provided.

This is only possible because of the strong backbone support from after sales (parts and service) network that is hugely important for the product to succeed. The buses are well accepted in Kingdom for its quality, low maintenance and operational costs”, added Thiru.
“The new facility features state of art equipment like engine diagnostic with computerized scan tool, computerized AC diagnostic testing and service, AL & Bosch trained technicians for FIP calibration, Ashok Leyland & OEM trained skilled technicians, all types of PMS and major overhauling services, body shop facility and full fledged AL-OE parts support”, he said.
The 2,000 Sq. meter service center is located ideally in the Araifi Workshop Area behind Naif Al-Korei Petrol Station in Jubail Industrial Area. This outlet takes Ashok Leyland service to the doorstep of Ashok Leyland owners in Jubail, Safwa, Qatif, Ras Tanura and Saihat areas.
Kamal said: “I am confident that our valued customers in Jubail and surrounding areas will be benefitted greatly as they need not drive all the way to Dammam for availing Ashok Leyland’s professional services. I’m glad that now onward we will be able to provide service to our valued Ashok Leyland customers within their own locality in this part of the Kingdom.” He said: “The strategy of Western Auto Company is to move closer to our esteemed customers instead of customers coming to us. In future, Saudi Arabia being huge market, we are also considering proposals to set up Ashok Leyland manufacturing plant in Jubail”, added the CEO.
