Riyadh’s Security Forces Hospital have added another feather to their cap by launching an application for smart devices that aids the provision of services to patients in the hospital without the need for physical presence at all stages of monitoring. This is said to add immense value to its already-premier services for Ministry of Interior employees and their dependents.
Hospital sources said on Thursday that the application’s initial version contains several interactive services for patients and reviewers that will facilitate the delivery of better assistance for all of the beneficiaries of hospital services including, among others, providing information for patients and their family members by securely displaying medical files on the system.
The application also provides access to patient’s drug record and encompasses a function for requesting the re-dispensing of drugs. Further, it serves the purpose of inquiring about appointments through a text message program to remind patients of deadlines and engagements.
The app can be downloaded for both Apple and android devices through the hospital’s ‘smart devices’ program.
Welcoming the move, a patient at the hospital said, “The application is excellent and easy to use. I was surprised by the quality of the application and the services available within it. It is clear that a great effort and qualitative development has been put into creating the service.”
