Over the past two years, Hana Water, a major water provider in Saudi Arabia, invested in two new complete lines from Sidel, a global provider of liquid PET packaging solutions, one of which stands as the “first high speed line” in the Kingdom. As of now, the high speed line, capable of producing 72,000 bottles per hour (bph), is currently operational while the second line will be completed and running by February 2015.
Hana Water decided to make a purchase of its first complete line since 2004 from Sidel. The company decided to completely replace its old line with Sidel's high speed line.
"As the demand for bottled water increases in the Saudi market, we have to adapt and expand, in order to keep up with demand. As such, we have chosen to work with Sidel because they have proven over a long work history that they are more than capable of providing us with not only the latest and most innovative technology in the industry, but the support and knowledge to provide a quality experience," said Ahmed H. Al-Theyab, MD, Hana Water.
"We have been working with Sidel for a long time, but now we have come to realize that they are able to provide us with the latest technology and the means to drastically improve our own facilities more so than other providers," said Ahmed Abu Al-Ghaith, GM, Hana Water.
"It is true that we provide one of the fastest equipment in the industry, but it's not only about the speed. We help our customers to be efficient and effective in the way they operate and eventually be profitable at all times," said Andrea DelGrosso, regional commercial director at Sidel for Greater Middle East.
Hana Water has been an established water provider in Saudi Arabia for over 30 years.
