Prince Fahd bin Muqrin launched a national initiative program for Saudi youth on Sunday under the banner “Sons of the homeland”.
The program aims to honor young men and women who have served the country and instil a sense of duty toward the country among Saudi youth.
Media adviser Abdul Aziz Alandidjani said the initiative will be led by 50 intellectuals, scientists and business leaders in the Kingdom.
Prince Fahd bin Muqrin said it was a pleasure to preside over such a program, which aims to prepare youth to serve the nation and contribute toward the homeland’s security.
He added that the importance of the initiative stems from the importance of instilling a culture of duty in young Saudis toward the country and cultivating a sense of responsibility toward the community.
Prince Fahd signed four Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements with Prince Najwa Salem of the Beta Academy for Education and Training, Okaz newspaper, the media sponsors of the initiative, Jeddah Municipality and Madinah Municipality.
