Bank account of Saudi hacked

A Saudi man in Bashair has filed a complaint saying that an anonymous individual had hacked into his bank account and transferred SR18,430 to another account through local transfer, adding that he is worried that the money would land in the wrong hands.
Saad bin Mohammed Al-Shamrani said he was shocked when he saw the amount deducted from his account in Al-Rajhi Bank on June 15. He then informed the bank asking them to stop all transactions. He also informed police.
Although Al-Shamrani had asked his bank to inform him about account number of the beneficiary of the amount, which was transferred from his account, the bank refused to provide any information, sabq.org reported.
Al-Shamrani expressed his dismay over the bank keeping quiet about the incident and why it was not providing information about his account.
Talaat Hafiz, spokesman of Saudi commercial banks, said he was still awaiting a reply from Al-Rajhi Bank on the incident.
