Media persons from around the world congregated in Seoul, S. Korea, on Sunday to discuss the future of journalism as the World Journalists Conference (WJC) will kick off in the city on Monday.
According to the organizers of the event, around hundred representatives of mass media from various countries are participating in the conference.
Organized by the Journalists Association of Korea (JAK), the theme of the conference is “peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula and global journalism” with focus on public diplomacy in the global age and objective reporting.
