Al-Watania Poultry exceeds 300 million chicken production

Al-Watania Poultry has increased its production of chicken to over 300 million chickens per year, according to Al-Watania Poultry CEO Mohammed Al-Rajhi.
“The decision to increase the production corresponds to a recent study of the market situation and the customers’ need in the Kingdom and the other countries.
This decision came in sync with the steps of opening new of new markets at the national, the Arab, regional and international levels.”
He stated that Al-Watania Poultry aims to cover the increasing demand for its chicken, eggs and poultry products, which include more than 150 types, in the Saudi and international markets, as well as reduce the demand gap on poultry meat in the Kingdom, which reached more than 55 percent.
He praised the great support the company receives from the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and the unlimited encouragement from different state institutions for local producers to develop and improve the Saudi domestic production.
The National Poultry Company describes itself as one of the largest producers of poultry not only at the regional level but also worldwide.
It is one of the first companies in the region that meet international quality standards, where it has been awarded a series of ISO 9001 certificates and ISO 22000 recently, including HACCP.
