An Ethiopian housemaid has been arrested for allegedly pouring boiling cooking oil on four members of a Saudi family in the town of Dawadmi in Riyadh.
The man and his wife suffered first-degree burns. The two children's injuries are not serious, local media reported on Friday.
"The condition of the man and his wife are so critical that they have been referred to the Eman Hospital in Riyadh while the two children are receiving treatment at our hospital because they have moderate injuries," said Saad Al-Yahya, director of the Dawadmi General Hospital .
He said the four injured people were brought to the hospital at 9 a.m. on Friday. Police are investigating.
