8,000 visitors expected at Jeddah Cityscape

The 5th Jeddah Cityscape Urban Development and Real Estate Investment Event, organized with the support of Prince Mishaal bin Majed, governor of Jeddah, with the aim to letting the people know about the development schemes in the Kingdom and the region.
The 5th Cityscape Jeddah 2014, organized by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is the biggest event of the year.
It expected to receive more than 8,000 visitors, said organizers.
The event has the largest number of exhibitors this year and is a showcase of number of large-scale projects.
The Western Region is also experiencing an unprecedented real estate boom, with billions of riyals earmarked for mega projects. Among the most important are the SR15 billion mixed-use Prince Sultan Cultural Center north of Jeddah and Bawabat Makkah, a visionary city planned just west of Makkah.
Both projects will be highlighted at Real Estate Summit workshops, held alongside the main event .
The show is an excellent opportunity for developers and investors to know about the latest developments and extension of new urban capital business of the kingdom.
According to a new report issued by NCB Capital, the outlook for the real estate sector remains strong, with the Ministry of Housing making good progress on several initiatives and developers foreseeing benefits from this.
The winners of Saudi Arabia’s best real estate projects will be also announced at the Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in Saudi Arabia.
“We are looking forward with keen anticipation to the annual Cityscape Awards ceremony on May 5 when we will announce this year’s winners,” stated Abdullah bin Mahfouz, chairman, National Exhibition Company, organizers of Cityscape Jeddah.
He said the prestigious Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in Saudi Arabia have become widely recognized as the highest mark of distinction for design visionaries and forward-thinking real estate developers who are raising the bar in the Kingdom’s thriving real estate industry with projects ranging from culturally integrated city skylines to sustainable urban communities within Saudi Arabia.
