JEDDAH: Pakistan International School Jeddah (Azizia) and DPS Al-Falah International School scored convincing wins in the Inter-School under-16 cricket tournament, sponsored by Red Tag and organized by the Western Province Cricket Association here.
The Pakistani school from Azizia routed Hala International by 5 wickets while DPS Al-Falah ousts PISJ (English Section) by 6 wickets.
PISJ Azizia won the toss and put in Hala International who were all out for 90 runs. Umair and Sahreen Baig scored 14 runs each while Khalil made 12 runs. Osman and Osama took three wickets each.
In reply, PISJ Azizia achieved the required runs for the loss of 5 wickets off 12 overs. Hamdan top-scored with 35 runs while Saeed Shah got 13.
In the other match, PISJ (ES)-White scored 141 for 6. Hamza was the highest run getter with 68. Faiz took 3 wickets. DPS Al-Falah reeled off the target in 15 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Ubaid (17), Sami (32), Ahmed (14) and Viraj (42 not out) steered their school to victory.
