Power management company, Eaton, has signed an agreement with Abunayyan Holding’s ECO to further strengthen its offering in Saudi Arabia.
ECO, a major provider of power and control solutions across a range of industry sectors, becomes one of Eaton’s franchise panel builders for low voltage (LV) IEC Systems, specifically for the water and waste water Saudi market.
The partnership will offer the local market a tested, certified, flexible, compact and safe solution for LV switchboards and motor control centers on a smart platform.
Water and wastewater management in the Kingdom are sectors of increasing importance, with depleting groundwater sources and desalination representing an expensive and resource-intensive process. This new partnership will provide local access to the latest power management technologies that can support efficient and more effective water management.
“Together, ECO and Eaton bring strong capabilities and expertise that can further the growth of one of our country’s most demanding and important industries,” stated Said M. Reda, CEO, ECO.
“We are delighted to embark on this new partnership and provide quality, locally manufactured solutions to the Saudi market,” he added.
“Saudi Arabia is a strategic growth market for Eaton in the region,” said Frank Ackland, GM, Eaton Middle East. “Our partnership with ECO is a vital element of our go-to-market strategy in the Kingdom.”
“Eaton’s franchise panel builder program ensures customers in the country get the same Eaton quality type-tested systems locally. We are proud to have such a strong partner on board with a strong reputation for providing quality products and solutions in the Kingdom for over 50 years,” added Ackland.
Eaton, a power management company with 2013 sales of $22 billion, provides energy-efficient solutions that help effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
