Philippine 'Embassy on Wheels' visiting Al-Khafji

A mobile team of the Philippine Embassy will be in the eastern town of Al-Khafji on Friday and Saturday (March 21 and 22) to conduct consular outreach services.
Filipinos in Al Khafji and adjacent areas in the Eastern Province are advised to proceed to the Al Yamama Esteraha in Al Khafji during the designated dates to avail themselves of services, the embassy said in a press statement.
It said applicants for passports who have obtained online appointments since February 2014 would be served.
For those renewing passports, however, the following are exempted from prior appointments:
• Senior citizens from 60 years old and above;
• Newborn applicants, from 1 year old below;
• Pregnant women with a medical certificate;
• Applicants who have lost their passports;
• Applicants who have damaged passports; and
• Applicants with errors on their passports.
For those applying for other consular services, no prior appointment is needed.
