Chinese flight school plane crashes, killing 2

BEIJING: A small plane belonging to a Chinese flight academy crashed into a farm field in southwest China on Saturday, killing both people on board.
The official Xinhua News Agency said the PA-44 plane was involved in aviation training at the time of Saturday’s crash, with one instructor and one trainee on board. Both died at the scene.
The Communist Party-run Sichuan Daily said the plane crashed in a village near the city of Dujiangyan. It said the plane belonged to the Civil Aviation Flight University of China, which is located in the nearby city of Deyang.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
