Underscoring the importance of extra-curricular activities for students, the Al-Hukamaa International School celebrated “Orange Day” and the school’s annual fete aimed at giving the students an understating of social responsibility. Kindergarten children learned about the orange color in an attractive and interesting way.
The students wore orange colored clothes and brought various orange toys to the school. Different activities relating to color were arranged for the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed participating in the various programs. The tiny tots too learned the concept of celebration.
The principal of the school, Sadia Kaleem, applauded the cooperation extended by the staff and the parents in making the event a success. The event were coordinated by Bathool and Um Salma, teachers in charge of activities.
Principal Kaleem inaugurated the fete that had 36 stalls with lots of fun, entertainment, games, nail painting, face painting, henna art and toys for all ages on offer. There were also mouth-watering food-stuff on offer including freshly baked cakes, pasta, Biriyani and doughnuts.
Around 90 children participated and manned the stalls.
