Many Saudis to participate in Dubai meet to explore ‘power within people’

The 12th International Arabian Society of Human Resource Management (ASHRM) Conference and Exhibition is expected to attract participation of several personalities from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdulhadi Al-Mansoori, president of ASHRM told Arab News.
To be held under the patronage of Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the event will take place in Dubai from Feb. 10-13, 2014 in Atlantis Hotel, The Palm Jumeirah.
The four-day function will focus on “The Power Within People; the Engine of Transformation” that aims to provide professionals in corporations and educational institutions as well as businessmen, students and academics in the field of human resources development and management the opportunity to connect, exchange experiences and provide an insight into Human Resource (HR) best practices and case studies with leading international figures.
He said that the senior HR figures from SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation) and Saudi ARAMCO from Saudi Arabia will participate with other high profile figures which also feature Kenexa CEO Rudy Karsan and Twitter co-creator Dom Sagola, LinkedIn’s Ben Casnocha and Patrick Harverson, Prince Charles’s former PR chief. Former BBC News journalist Gavin Esler will be facilitating the event.
