Saudi Arabian national carrier flynas Monday announced the launch of its Global Flight Routes program starting from April 2014, with operating flights from Jeddah to Europe, Southeast Asia and North Africa.
The announcement was made at a flynas press conference held on Monday, which is a day ahead of the carrier’s participation at the Jeddah International Travel and Tourism Exhibition at the Convention Centre Hilton Jeddah.
flynas’ Global Flight Routes program will offer regional travelers access to affordable, high-value international air travel to three continents, namely Europe, Asia and Africa. All of flynas’ international flights will operate out of its hub in Jeddah.
The new global destinations include London Gatwick and Manchester in the UK, Paris in France, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Jakarta in Indonesia and Casablanca in Morocco.
“Flynas is expanding its horizons to operate as a truly international carrier with the launch of our Global Flight Routes program. The expansion of our flight routes to cover long-haul destinations in Europe, Asia and Africa is a key element of our strategy to lead the airline into a new chapter of aggressive growth,” said Raja Azmi, CEO, flynas.
“We have made significant recent investments in enhancing our fleet with the acquisition of Airbus A330 aircraft and upgrading our in-flight offering to include a 12-seat Business Class cabin. In addition, we have upgraded to a highly customer-centric model of service for our Economy Class passengers, making high value affordable air travel accessible to all,” Azmi added.
Business Class passengers will be able to enjoy an incredibly comfortable inflight experience with a seat pitch of 60 inch and a reclinable full flat-bed.
Business class passengers will also enjoy comfort-boosting services such as Lounge Access and Fast Track services, complimentary “Comfort Pack, inflight entertainment as well as individual iPad entertainment and newspapers.
