Lenovo introduces LTE smartphone

Lenovo has launched in Riyadh its first LTE smartphone — Lenovo Vibe Z — which will be available in all major retailers in Saudi Arabia by the end of February.
“The Lenovo Vibe Z smart phone, which costs SR1,999 is equipped with gesture controls, photo enhancement software and other premium technologies,” Oliver Ebel, Lenovo vice president for the Middle East and Africa, told a press conference.
Vibe Z complements the existing portfolio of Lenovo smart phones, including Vibe X that was launched last month in the Kingdom.
Ebel added that Vibe Z is also Lenovo's first smart phone that makes use of 4G/LTE capabilities, offering true mobile freedom with super-fast data download at up to 150 Mbit/s and upload at up to 50Mbit/s to satisfy even the most data hungry of individuals. The Vibe Z also comes with 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
“The Lenovo Vibe smartphones are designed to cater to intuitive and trendy users who demand stylish, fast and sleek smartphones to stay connected, share picture perfect photos and enjoy multimedia videos and gaming on full HD screens,” Ebel said.
He added that with the expansion of its smart phone portfolio, “Lenovo continues to diversify its business and build a strong foundation for the future in the PC Plus era.”
