Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held talks here Monday with visiting Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Salman bin Sultan and highlighted the strong ties between the two countries.
Sharif said Pakistan considers relations with Saudi Arabia of “top importance” and was keen to take these ties to “new heights.”
Sharif commended the role played by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to bolster regional and global peace and stability.
They reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to strengthen links in different sectors.
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and Saudi Ambassador Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer also attended the meeting.
