This is in response to the letter by G.N. Seetharam (Dec. 29) titled “Leave India.”
The writer — who appears to be part of the Modi brigade — has very innocently ignored the fact that Modi is facing many cases in Indian courts. He has undoubtedly butchered innocent Muslims in Gujarat.
Has the writer forgotten the Zakia Jafri and Ishrat Jahan encounter cases? According to Jafri’s counsel Mihir Desai, “Modi can feel easy for 20 days but not for more than that.”
This is a blatant lie and eyewash to prove Modi had no role in the 2002 Gujarat riots. The entire world knows that he and members of his party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is responsible for the massacre of thousands of innocent Muslims in Gujarat.
If some Muslims took part in the creation of Pakistan that does not mean that all Muslims should leave India and migrate to Pakistan. It was their decision to go to Pakistan. It is nothing but wishful thinking on part of the Saffron Brigade.
