STC provides Marhaba cards at all holy sites

Even as its preparations continue for the 1434H Haj, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has covered all of the Kingdom’s land, sea and air outlets with telecom services. These include the holy sites in Makkah and Madinah.
STC continues to play its role in making available different telecom services to the pilgrims. It has provided all prepaid calling cards with all denominations (SR10, SR20, SR50) at all sales points with more than 586 prepaid calling card (Marhaba) devices in addition to mobile cabins in pilgrim cities through which the pilgrim can call anywhere in the world at low prices.
STC added that it has dedicated all its material and technical resources to raise the operational capacity and increase the landline network capacity to match the call traffic volume. It has also concentrated maintenance work and periodic checks on the landline network exchanges to ensure the highest efficiency to confirm that STC is the most experienced organization in delivering telecom services during the annual Haj season where a huge and record crowd meets in a specific area for a limited period of time.
STC says it dedicates all its resources throughout the year and employs all expertise and material and human capabilities during the Haj season, which witnesses unprecedented congestion of outgoing and incoming calls in the network and which necessitates augmentation of capacities.
