The Philippine mission’s Embassy on Wheels (EOWs) team rendered various consular services to 1,111 Filipinos last Friday and Saturday at the Al-Jazeera International School in Dammam in the Eastern Province.
The team issued 300 new passports, besides providing services for 611 passport renewals, four lost passport applications, 133 authentication and notarial certifications, in addition to registering 12 births. It also extended 50 passports.
Vice Consul Maria Angelica C. Genotiva, who headed the team, expressed her thanks to staff and community for helping to make the team’s mission a success.
The next EOW in Alkhobar, originally scheduled on Oct. 10-11, has been moved to Oct. 11-12 at the same venue due to weekend change in the Kingdom. Filipinos who have scheduled appointments on Oct. 10-11 are advised to visit the embassy website at http://www.philembassy-riyadh.org.
Meanwhile, the embassy urged those who had secured online appointments for the additional EOW scheduled for Oct. 18-19 at the Al-Jazeera International School to cancel their earlier existing appointments for Alkhobar EOWs in November and December 2013 to enable other e-passport applicants to secure slots for this period.
For more information, interested parties are urged to e-mail the consular section at consular@philembassy-riyadh.org or call 011-4823816.
