Al-Bandar International House for Trading Company, a division of Landmark Group, hosted its Praise Awards Night, the company’s first of its kind corporate award ceremony, recently.
The Praise Awards Night is described as a “unique concept” that was proposed by Al-Bandar HR Team this year with the objective to showcase and set great examples for others by recognizing and rewarding the extraordinary performances in an exceptional manner.
“It is a sincere effort to acknowledge the exceptional performance and contribution of the employees. The extraordinary contributions of each and every employee have led to the success of Landmark Group over a period of time,” the company stated.
There were award categories with cash rewards, trophies, certificates and plaques.
Also, a jury was appointed, which consisted of Al-Bandar senior management team along with COO himself.
Also, there were a few categories finalized by the employees themselves through an online employee voting system.
The award categories were Decadian Award, Employee of the Year Male, Employee of the Year Female, Best Customer Service, Most Innovative Idea of the Year, Style Icon of the Year, Best Department of the Year, Best Team of the Year, Best Store of the Year, Best Concept of the Year and the most important award, COO’s selection.
More than 2,500 employees along with the senior management team celebrated the award night.
It was the perfect opportunity for the employees to hear from COO Ravi Krishnan about the strengths of the territory, achievements of the past year, and new challenges and growth opportunities that are going to be part of the coming financial year.
The HR Team conceptualized and executed the event.
Their recognition came from COO himself who declared them as the Best Team of the Year 2012-13.
