Saudi Post will provide three labor-related services for expats next week. These include transferring sponsorships, issuing or renewing work permits and changing professions, said Sami Al-Owaidhi, its vice president.
“We’ll also provide services such as updating information related to a private firm’s address at the Labor Ministry and registration of its national address,” he said.
Other services will be made available for opening a firm, changing medical and engineering professions, changing a firm’s activities, attesting documents and uploading them in systems in the second phase.
“We’ll accept applications for new services at our Olaya office in Riyadh next week on an experimental basis,” Al-Owaidhi told Arab News.
Saudi Post also intends to launch another important service, namely the home delivery of residency permits (iqamas) to expatriates, shortly.
“We are in the final phase of preparations to sign an agreement with the Passports Department,” said Muhammad Bentan, president of Saudi Post.
