TV actress Mariam Al-Saleh battles cancer

Popular Kuwaiti actors and actresses are rallying together in support of actress Mariam Al-Saleh in her ordeal with cancer.
The news of her illness came recently. Many Kuwaiti and Gulf artists expressed their shock at the news on Twitter and prayed for the actress’s speedy recovery.
It was reported that the actress underwent medical examinations at a center in the US. She was awaiting the doctor's opinion on whether to start a four-month chemotherapy procedure or go for a surgery.
Al-Saleh is a leading TV and theater personality in Kuwait and is one of the first two women to act on stage with actress Mariam Al-Ghadban. She started acting in 1962, when she participated in the play “Saqr Quraysh” (The Falcon of Quraish). She also participated in countless TV soaps and stage plays during her long artistic career.
