Almarai Company intends to distribute more than 5,000 schoolbags among students of needy families in 45 cities and villages across the Kingdom this year.
“This is the second time we are distributing schoolbags among poor students in the Kingdom,” said Abdul Aziz Al-Oqail, PR manager at the company.
The program is part of its charitable and CSR projects, he said.
“Almarai also intends to extend hands of support to various social activities aimed at helping the needy,” Al-Oqail said, adding that those programs have been benefiting members of the society.
He said the company’s employees would distribute schoolbags among students of needy families through mosques in the targeted regions.
“Almarai will conduct such programs throughout the year,” Al-Oqail said.
It also distributes food baskets and dresses for the winter as part of charitable activities.
