OFBC swept the last Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week honors on offer during the 18th session in the Sarawat Superstores Thursday Bowling League 9th Season at the Sultanah Center’s Bowling City here.
Joel Nidoy’s OFBC squad saved its best for last to compile the top tally of 29 points, well in front of Kabayan Food which came in four points adrift on 25 points.
Robert Stone sealed an OFBC double when he claimed the individual Bowler of the Week award with the high series of 627 on scratch lines of 175, 183 and 239.
Boleros, the runaway league leaders who are set to be the No. 1 after the positioning round this week, finished the night in third place on 24 followed by Thumbs-up 19 and D’ Barkads 15.5
Habagat, Bowling City and Escalera were the last three teams to check in on 15, 12.5 and 4 points in that order.
OFBC finished off its rivals for honors by winning the third game and overall output.
Rudy Jamon was chief backup to Stone at OFBC on 618, while Ding dela Rosa and team captain Nidoy contributed 543 and 518 respectively. Toto Lim came through with 163-188 while Jerry Carredo had 162.
Kabayan Food had four players dishing full games, led by Rolly Vistal on 556 followed by Rene Martinez 543, Igna Salgado 535 and Eidress Mangunda 517. Paolo Allego played valuable two games of 222-254 with Gerry Mandanas tossed in 185.
Over at Boleros Jess Cerbito was the top scorer on 592 with Jack Jarin on 576, Bonnie Garcia 546, Ruben Grino 175-155, Elo Manalo 156-222 and Nanding Siasoco 156-158.
Thumbs-up had Jameel Cabrera at the top of the scoring ladder on 588. Obie Ycasas added 560, Jay Bengco 554, Rudy Valenzuela 540, Rene Punzalan 192-156 and Alex Flora 170.
