Rising above religious divide

The news report about a Hindu couple and a Muslim couple swapping their kidneys for transplantation at a leading specialty hospital in Bangalore, as the blood groups of their spouses did not match should serve as a lesson for all those whose only aim to inflame communal passion and incite hatred among different communities.
This incident also allows us to understand as how much Indians care about human values. What a bold and brave gesture these women donors have demonstrated to the whole mankind. All good and brave hearts feel delighted that India does have such people who talk and act in lives beyond their religious divide. Through this letter, I request all hardcore Hindu fundamentalists from the BJP, the RSS and other militant organization to take a lesson from this incident. These two women have exactly done what their religions teach them. As long as such men and women exist, India can never be divided on religious basis. Narendra Modi and his bunch of Hinduvata followers should note that they will not and never succeed in their attempts to turn the secular India into an un-secular one.
A real and true Indian knows that India is for all religions and not just for one religion! — Masroor Ahmed Jameel, by e-mail
