Al-Jomaih and Shell Lubricating Oil Company, together with Al-Wallan Trading Company, recently organized a ceremony to formalize a marketing and service contract for the supply of Shell oil products in Al-Wallan’s Hyundai franchise Workshops and Quick Service Centers across Saudi Arabia.
Two of the best-known global brands, Shell (the “world’s No. 1” lubricant supplier for the past six years) and Hyundai Motor Company (one of the fastest-growing car makers worldwide in the last decade) have been working together since 2005.
Shell has developed a full portfolio of motor oils that meet the requirements of Hyundai vehicles and ensure their engines are protected and cleaned with the latest lubricants technology.
Shell partners with Hyundai affiliates and dealers in 60+ countries on marketing programs designed to drive customer satisfaction.
This new arrangement with Al-Wallan Trading in the Kingdom is the latest, and one of the largest, such associations in the world.
Al-Wallan Group was founded in 1975, and established the Hyundai Motor agency in 1985 as sole distributor for the Central Region of Saudi Arabia.
During the nineties, in sometimes tough conditions, it established its professional approach toward the brand, and began its tradition of operational and commercial success.
Today, Hyundai claims to rank as the second best-selling brand in the Kingdom, known for its refined quality, reliability, ruggedness and value for money.
Its premium models — Centennial and Genesis — are proving a sensation with Saudi motorists.
The formal business relationship between Al-Jomaih Group and Shell began on Oct. 15 1956, and both companies have since gained wide experience and a deep understanding of the Saudi marketplace, enabling Shell International to develop high-quality lubricants specifically for that market.
As a result, the Al-Jomaih/Shell partnership has become one of the top-ranking joint ventures for Shell Lubricants worldwide.
