Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) sponsored a Ramadan Open Day for people with special needs at Al-Babtain Hall in Riyadh on Monday (July 22).
The event was well attended by 550 people with special needs, and their families and children who spent a fun-filled evening with various entertaining stage shows.
Mosaed Al-Ohali, EVP, manufacturing; Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Manea, director, Ministry of Social Affairs; and Nasser Mohammed Al-Motawwa, chairman of the board, Motor Disabilities Association (HARAKIA), attended the event, along with Yarob Al-Theneyan, director, CSR, and Abdulaziz Al-Farraj, manager, social programs.
SABIC’s CSR initiative comes during Ramadan, reflecting its strong support and care for the community.
The company’s support has been a significant source of encouragement to people with special needs, helping to enhance their talent and support their goals in the long run.
A variety entertainment program was held as part of the Open Day, with the participation of People with special needs of various age groups — men, women and children.
Gifts and prizes were distributed among the winners of the various competitions.
