Mobily and its partner Virtustream have launched their first Business Cloud Service (BCS) targeting customers across all segments and industry verticals in Saudi Arabia.
This is said to be in response to the unprecedented demand for business cloud.
Mobily BCS incorporates both public and hybrid cloud models to enable enterprises to run the most complex, mission-critical legacy applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and thousands more.
Customers’ existing investments in data-centers and equipment can be optimized while utilizing the on-demand capacity, guaranteed performance in a highly secure environment, delivered by Mobily and Virtustream.
The secure high-performance platform, xStream, delivers highly available and elastic compute resources with consumption based pricing.
This service will reduce the total cost of ownership of enterprise IT solutions while improving the agility and service levels.
Mobily offers this service to its current customers via secure, reliable, and high-speed network connections to its Tier III and IV data-centers scattered across the Kingdom.
A recent study in the Kingdom has shown that data security and loss of control over critical IT infrastructure assets are viewed as significant barriers to cloud adoption.
Mobily BCS has been designed with security, control and performance at their core and will provide significant advantages in these areas over and above a traditional infrastructure deployment.
All data are stored within the Kingdom and managed under the its data sovereignty laws.
Further, Mobily provides solution experts to offer consultative and professional services to seamlessly integrate distributed IT infrastructure with the BCS.
Mobily’s experts will also assist in selecting the right solution to focus on developing and delivering services that support the business.
