10 injured in Riyadh accident

At least 10 people were injured and several vehicles damaged when a jeep fell from a flyover in Riyadh yesterday, an online news agency reported.
Lt. Col. Hassan bin Saleh Al-Hassan, spokesman of the Riyadh Traffic Department, said the accident occurred at 11 a.m. The jeep was carrying seven persons and was being driven by a Bangladeshi national.
The jeep fell on a Honda car driven by a Pakistani national. Two other vehicles were also smashed.
Al-Hassan said the accident caused injuries to the jeep driver and seven others who were accompanying him as well as the three persons inside the Honda car, which was completely damaged.
The injured Bangladeshi driver, 46, two Saudi boys and a 40-year-old Saudi woman have been admitted to Najd Hospital while Al-Iman Hospital provided treatment to two Saudis and two Pakistanis.
