Jubail school conducts scouts and guides camp

The Bharat Scouts and Guides State Award called “Rajya Puraskar” badge testing camp was conducted for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides of International Indian School-Jubail recently.
Boys and girls who had enrolled in the movement four years ago prepared for this second highest honor and earned various proficiency badges. Tests were conducted in the history of the movement, first aid and camp craft.
Chief Commissioner of Scouts Layek Ali Aydrose from Riyadh visited and reviewed the test procedures. IIS-Jubail Principal Dr. Syed Hameed, who is also the Training Commissioner of Scouts, thanked the vice principals, parents, and teachers for encouraging Scout Guide activities in their schools.
He said that about 40 girl guides and 20 boy scouts have qualified for the Rajya Puraskar Award, which is going to be presented by the Indian ambassador in September.
