The King Khalid Medical City Project in the Eastern Province recently won the Middle East Best Future Design Awards at the 2013 Middle East Hospital Forum and Exhibition, which took place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Shaibani, CEO Of King Khalid Medical City in the Eastern Province, said he was honored to be bestowed with such an award on behalf of the project management team.
“We are very pleased that our Kingdom’s future health care project has earned such an acclaim from a reputable institute. This prestigious award reflects the aspirations of the Saudi government under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and the future vision of the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia under the guidance of Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah to improve and enhance health care development projects for the benefit of Saudi citizens,” he said.
Al-Shaibani added that King Khalid Medical City’s design is a fully integrated health care facility, which is inspired by the slogan “Patient comes first.” The city has been designed according to international standards, while taking into consideration the concept of quality health care with a wide variety of choices.
Al-Shaibani expressed his hope that the medical project would positively benefit citizens and the entire community in the near future.
